Spot is made by Smarter Media LLC. This page says what we keep and what we never keep.

What Spot Keeps

Your sign-in email.
Your plan, and if your payments are up to date.
When you agreed to our Terms, and which version.
The Macs you sign in on, by name.
If you run a team: the emails of the people on it.
Your call outlines. This way your other Macs and your team can see them.
Your upcoming calls: who each one is with, when it is, and anything you or your AI app add about them.
Your call notes. For each part of your outline: done, skipped or missed, the short answers Spot caught, and your next step. They stay until you delete them. You can download them, share them with your team, or let your AI app read them.
How much AI help you used. Only the cost, never what was said.
A security log of sign-ins and account changes. It never has your outlines or anything from your calls. We delete it after 90 days.

Call audio. Spot does not record your calls.
A transcript of your calls.
Word for word what anyone said. Spot throws the words away when the call ends and keeps only your short call notes.

The sound never leaves your Mac. Apple turns it into words on your Mac.
Paid plans: small parts of the call go through our server to the AI, through OpenRouter. This is how Spot fills blanks and writes notes. Our server passes them on and never stores them. It keeps only what each AI call cost.
If you use your own AI key: small parts of the call go from your Mac to the AI you chose, through OpenRouter. They do not go through us. Your key stays locked on your Mac.

Delete any call in Spot and it is gone from your account right away. Our database backups can hold it for up to 30 days, then it is gone for good.

Email [email protected] from your sign-in email. We will delete your account and all Spot keeps for it.
